Start with an exciting flight to the Lion City, where you'll be whisked away to one of the city's top-notch hotels for a luxurious 4-night stay. Dive into the lush paradise of Gardens by the Bay, marveling at its iconic Supertrees and vibrant flora. Then, tantalize your taste buds on a thrilling food tour, exploring hidden culinary gems and savoring Singapore's delectable cuisine. Get ready for an adventure-packed getaway filled with unforgettable experiences!

DAY 1: SINGAPORE (4 NIGHTS)

    

Touch down at Changi Airport where you will enjoy a private transfer to your accommodation. Check into your room and unwind. The rest of the day is yours to spend at leisure, whether to relax from your flight or to explore the Lion City on your own. If you’d like to stretch your legs, we recommend taking a walk across the Helix Bridge located in Marina Bay, where you can take in Singapore’s iconic skyline and see its futuristic architecture such as the lotus-shaped Art Science Museum and the fantastically-lit super trees and glass domes of the Gardens by the Bay. 

DAY 2: SINGAPORE

Today is devoted to self-exploring the diverse cultural enclaves of Singapore’s three dominant ethnic groups, and discover their delicious eats along the way. First, take a taxi to Little India, a small but vibrant neighborhood. Walk along the narrow lanes of the community and its colorful buildings, passing Hindu temples, sweets shops, a heritage center, and aromatic restaurants. Make your way to Tekka Market, a one-stop shop for locals to buy groceries, do shopping, and dine at the food court. Here you can try the local preferred breakfast of roti canai, layered flatbread, dipped in curry.

Next is Chinatown, where you can nibble and taste your way through a variety of restaurants, stalls, and shops. Top it off with a local favorite dessert, chendol: a refreshing mix of tapioca, fruits, milk, and ice.
Finally, explore the quiet Malay heritage district of Kampong Glam. Admire the golden dome of the Sultan Mosque and an outdoor art gallery of street art and wall murals, as well as the Indie-chic shopping street called Haji Lane. You will also see the art of making teh tarik, pulled tea, in action - and if you're lucky, you will get the opportunity to try your hand as well.

DAY 3: SINGAPORE

Embark on a self-guided cultural journey to learn about the Peranakan community in Singapore, in the Joo Chiat and Katong neighborhoods. Peranakan is a unique hybridization of ancient Chinese culture with the local cultures of the Straits area, a result of centuries-long interracial marriage and converging cultures. Visit the Peranakan Museum, snap pictures of the colorful shophouses, and sample some Nyonya delicacies with tea. While in the neighborhood, have lunch at a famous Peranakan restaurant known for their laksa, a seafood noodle soup.

    

Return to your hotel in the afternoon to rest and prepare for this evening’s supper tour through Geylang neighborhood. Supper is Singapore’s unofficial fourth meal of the day, eaten during late-night hours. Sample late night street food favorites such as rice noodles, dim sum, and fruits, while also enjoying the glittering neon atmosphere of this neighborhood that comes alive at night.

DAY 4: SINGAPORE

Get off the beaten path and discover a truly local neighborhood not often seen by visitors. Slow it down and take in the morning with a little known hobby that transcended the kampong (village) era: bird singing.

The older generation here still gather at designated parks with their beloved feathered friends in the mornings to bask in company and melodious chirps. Stop by an authentic  ‘kopitiam,’ for coffee and kaya toast with soft boiled egg like a true local. You canalso stop by the local wet market and a hawker center to observe the quotidian and enjoy some treats as well. Then, take a boat ride to the small nearby island of Pulau Ubin where you can visit an aquaculture farm. Here you can fish for your own lunch which will be cooked and served up at a seafood restaurant by the docks. Enjoy one of the most famous Singaporean dishes, ‘chili crab.’

On your final night in Singapore, head out for some fun out on the town. Go bar-hopping to some of the city’s best, and hidden, bars. Learn how to shake - or stir - up a bespoke cocktails in a masterclass with a gin expert mixologist.

DAY 5: RETURN TO AUSTRALIA

Today concludes your whirlwind trip across Singapore and deep dive into its diverse cultures and cuisines. Take the morning slowly with a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and time to relax before returning to the airport for your flight onward.
