The following terms and conditions apply to travel plans and accommodation quotes requested from and supplied by Travel Directions Pty. Ltd. trading as Global Escapes Travel, Australian Escapes Holiday & Travel Club (Australian Escapes) and Kiwi Escapes (the company) and are subject to change without notice. These conditions are to be read in conjunction with our standard booking conditions and conditions applicable to Australian Escapes Holiday & Travel Club membership as defined in website FAQs.
There are two main scenarios:
(1) You request a price-beat on a specific property. Our objective is to provide at least 15% more total value or a price that is 15% lower than a competitor quote supplied to us for the same accommodation property, on the same conditions and with the same inclusions, provided we have access to be able to book the accommodation through our normal supplier channels.
If we do not have access to member rates that property we will offer an alternative that is of the same or higher standard, as per our hotel rating system and that meets the stated requirements, subject to availability, and subject to the following:
(2) We propose a property with member pricing: If the "you pay" price we submit is already discounted using GCash travel credits and the lowest available price at the time it was submitted, it does not qualify. Otherwise our objective is to provide at least 15% more total value or a price that is 15% lower than a competitor quote supplied to us for the same accommodation property, on the same conditions and with the same inclusions.
A price-beat will be deemed successful and this guarantee is therefore met when the applicable objective is achieved.
Inclusions in travel and tour packages assembled by competitor travel agents, tour companies, wholesalers, online travel promoters will all be different in some way. Packages will typically vary by inclusions, validity, suppliers, component type, standard, terms and conditions, travel date, etc ("package components").
Our objective in this type of price-beat situation is to assemble a package containing similar and/or higher value package components to that which you present to us. We guarantee to offer at least 15% more total value (through added value) or a price that is 15% lower than the competitor quote ("successful price-beat") subject to the following:
A price-beat will be deemed successful and this guarantee is therefore met when the above objective is achieved.
The price-beat must be requested before you place a booking with any other travel agent, online booking agent or property direct in relation to the subject accommodation or package.
A price-beat may be requested by providing clear, written evidence of the competitor quote as well as your requirements to an employee of the company who performs a reservations or travel consultant role ("company contact") as follows:
A competitor quote presented under this guarantee must be genuine (not contrived) and must be a final, fixed price, backed by verifiable evidence. A competitor quote that we determine is not genuine or final is excluded. The requested date range(s) for travel/tour commencement as well as for individual package components must be realistic and flexible.
This condition applies to travel/tour packages only. We require up to $900 deposit per person (amount depending on package complexity) as a guarantee that you will proceed with the travel plan after we are successful with the price/value beat. This requirement exists because of the amount of travel consultant time required to price according to a competitor quote.
Your Australian Escapes Holiday & Travel Club membership must be Gold level or above and active and paid up at the time of requesting the price beat.

Bula and welcome to Fiji! Upon arriival to Nadi, pick up your rental car at the airport then drive to your first destination. There’s hardly a better place to start the rest of your lives together than the archipelago of Fiji. After arriving, we recommend getting over the jet lag at one of the fabulous five-star resorts on Denarau Island.
The island connected to Fiji’s mainland is a mere 20 minutes away from the airport, so you’ll be transitioning into Fiji time quicker than, well, “Fiji time“. Each resort is connected by a waterfront walkway or the hop-on hop-off Bula Bus making resort-hopping a fun way to spend your time. You could also relax by the pool, treat yourself to a couples’ massage, and more.
It’s time to hit the road and enjoy a self-drive tour of Fiji’s mainland, Viti Levu. Today, you’ll be exploring the Suncoast, the northern region of Viti Levu which spans between Lautoka and Korovou. The heart of the Suncoast is Rakiraki, home to a number of relaxed four-star resorts, upmarket hotels and even a private island resort. On your way through the Suncoast, check out the markets in Lautoka, stop by architectural sights like the Church of the Black Christ, or even take a special trip to the Navala Village with traditional “bures”.
It’s time to do a little more exploring of the Suncoast, whether it’s snorkelling or scuba diving at some of the amazing outer coral reefs of the Bligh Water or sticking to land with a romantic experience like a private dinner on the pontoon of the luxury Dolphin Island.

Suva, Fiji’s capital and largest city is located on Viti Levu’s south-eastern coast. Suva offers a mix of historical sites, museums, parks, local markets and a vibrant nightlife, and is one of the most cosmopolitan centres in the South Pacific, home to around a third of Fiji’s population.
Get back on the road today and enjoy a scenic road trip through the rest of the Suncoast region to Fiji’s capital city, Suva. At Wailotua Village, ask for a guide to see the Snake God Cave with amazing limestone formations. Stop by Takalana Bay Retreat for one of their amazing dolphin cruises at the Moon Reef. When you arrive in Suva, you might want to check out the Fiji Museum, check out the Municipal Market and try the array of international cuisine.
There’s so much to do on the Pacific Harbour and Beqa Island that we recommend leaving Suva early to fit in a couple of full-day experiences. The Pacific Harbour is known as Fiji’s “Adventure Capital” with white water rafting, jet boat tours, ziplining, shark diving and more! If you’re adventure-seekers then you’ll fill up your time here no problem. Otherwise, there are certainly more excuses to lounge with a cocktail in hand, get a massage or go on a sunset cruise.

After lunch, embark on a visit to the chiefly village of Soso, an exceptional example of a current-day Fijian island village. Enjoy a traditional Thali dinner which features exquisite Indian dishes. This evening may turn into an extravaganza of Bollywood dancing complete with Bollywood movies.
Sunday is a day of rest in Fiji. After breakfast, attend a village church service. You cruise south to the beautiful Naukacucu and Narara Islands as you enjoy a traditional Sunday roast. Join the chef for today’s Fijian cooking lesson and make the traditional dish ‘Kokoda’. Tonight’s buffet has a range of dishes from Fiji along with a choice of European dishes. There is Bingo ‘Fiji style’ after dinner with lots of laughs and some good prizes, or you can enjoy a quiet nightcap at the bar.
As Fiji Princess arrives at the stunning Sacred Isles, you’ll be sure you are lost in paradise. The backdrop of the neighbouring Waya Lailai volcanic formations is breathtaking. Spend the remainder of the day swimming, snorkelling, and simply relaxing. Fiji style high tea is served following a cooking lesson on how to make ‘Roti in Lolo’. Watch the sunset and enjoy the Captain’s dinner.

Your destination for the day is the famed Blue Lagoon. The superb stretch of water is ringed by island and our very own private island peninsula is located here. Watch as the crew position right up to the beach and tie the boat off to coconut trees. Enjoy happy hour on shore with canapes. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Lovo meal under the coconut palms and the tropical stars. There will also be Fijian meke: singing, dancing, and story telling by local villagers.
Start your day with an easy guided walk with panoramic views, followed by a visit to an island-style cake shop and the local shell market. The rest of the morning is yours to enjoy at leisure; laze in the sun, try your hand at basket weaving, or embark on a guided snorkeling tour. Lunch is served onboard as Fiji Princess cruises north for a private guided visit to the amazing Sawa-I-Lau caves. The village of Tamasua welcomes you with a yaquona ceremony, a guided walk around the village, and a village style feast prepared and cooked by the village women. Sitting on mats, eat the delicious meals and listen to stories of Fijian culture and the island.
Cruise to Drawaqa Island where our marine Biologist joins us for a presentation about the local marine life and the volunteer conservation work carried out in the area. During May to October, you will have the opportunity to snorkel with the magnificent manta rays. Also on offer today is an excursion to the local island school to view the work of the Vinaka Fiji volunteers. Dinner this evening is a barbecue served under the stars. Tonight, party Fiji style to celebrate the last day of your cruise.
